Jo Ann LeSage has left Sawchuk Brown Associates to join the public relations firm of a former colleague.
LeSage, who was vice president of Sawchuk Brown, the Albany, N.Y., area's largest public relations firm, for about 6 years, has become vice president of client services for Pierce Communications of Albany. Pierce Communications is headed by Jonathan Pierce, who also had worked for Sawchuk Brown in the past.
Prior to joining Sawchuk Brown, LeSage was vice president of communications and government affairs at the Albany-Colonie Regional Chamber of Commerce.
"I have known Jo Ann on both a professional and personal level for more than 10 years now," said Pierce. "She is one of the region's most experienced, talented and well respected public relations professionals and I am thrilled to have her join the firm. She has developed and implemented successful and creative public relations campaigns for some of the region's largest public and private organizations."
Pierce Communication's client list includes the Albany Parking Authority, Seton Health System of Troy, N.Y., Mildred Elley Business School, Price Chopper Supermarkets, the New York State Association of Architects, the Food Industry Alliance of New York State and the Environmental Business Association of New York State.
